Dear Dr. Hunt, it has been 9 months since you performed surgery on my broken femur. I feel blessed that you were in the Emergency Room when I arrived. You did a skillful job of putting “Humpty Dumpty” together again. From being unable to put any weight on my leg, I am now able to walk again and participate in the activities I enjoy. The bones are not completely healed, but I have made a remarkable recovery with the help of a lot of therapy, hard work and patience. I wanted to thank Dr. Ng for doing such an awesome job repairing my torn ligament in my ankle. He said my ankle was one of the loosest he had seen and he did my surgery in April and by mid July, I was back to jogging and now can run 3.5 miles without pain at all. Dr. Hurley did surgery on my left wrist in 2005 and it’s been perfect until I broke it again in April 2014! Because of the positioning of the fracture, he put me in a very cool cast/brace and followed it closely. This one healed just fine without needing surgery. I point that out because some doctors are only interested in your care if you are a surgery patient; Dr. Hurley is absolutely wonderful. He’s efficient, but still makes you feel like he’s interested and concerned. I highly recommend him for wrist and hand issues.
