Dr. Hurley is the epitome of an excellent doctor and surgeon. He previously has performed 10 successful trigger finger and carpal tunnel surgeries on me (different finger/thumb/wrist locations); this time I came in for an examination of an index finger problem, diagnosed as tendonitis. Dr. Hurley is pleasant, professional, thorough in his examination, and succinct in his instructions. The x-rays were prompt; my whole visit was well under an hour. I have recommended him to anyone I know who has hand problems. Based on other medical experiences I have had, he is the kind of doctor that a person finds after several unsuccessful experiences with medical professionals; I was lucky to find him the first time for my numerous hand problems.

Dear Dr. Hunt, it has been 9 months since you performed surgery on my broken femur. I feel blessed that you were in the Emergency Room when I arrived. You did a skillful job of putting “Humpty Dumpty” together again. From being unable to put any weight on my leg, I am now able to walk again and participate in the activities I enjoy. The bones are not completely healed, but I have made a remarkable recovery with the help of a lot of therapy, hard work and patience. Dr. Hurley did surgery on my left wrist in 2005 and it’s been perfect until I broke it again in April 2014! Because of the positioning of the fracture, he put me in a very cool cast/brace and followed it closely. This one healed just fine without needing surgery. I point that out because some doctors are only interested in your care if you are a surgery patient; Dr. Hurley is absolutely wonderful. He’s efficient, but still makes you feel like he’s interested and concerned. I highly recommend him for wrist and hand issues.
