Dr. Ng, just wanted to give you a update on my ankle since surgery in October (25th). Last Saturday (15th), I ran a 50k in Copper Mountain. I was able to run in 6 hours and 26 mins placing 31 out of 82. Other than being slightly slower than I was previously, I feel that I’m back! Just wanted to share the success story.

You removed a screw placed by another doctor in another state that was backing out, plus managed to do it in time for her departure to do public health work in Hanoi, Vietnam. Dr. Hurley is the epitome of an excellent doctor and surgeon. He previously has performed 10 successful trigger finger and carpal tunnel surgeries on me (different finger/thumb/wrist locations); this time I came in for an examination of an index finger problem, diagnosed as tendonitis. Dr. Hurley is pleasant, professional, thorough in his examination, and succinct in his instructions. The x-rays were prompt; my whole visit was well under an hour. I have recommended him to anyone I know who has hand problems. Based on other medical experiences I have had, he is the kind of doctor that a person finds after several unsuccessful experiences with medical professionals; I was lucky to find him the first time for my numerous hand problems.

I wanted to thank Dr. Ng for doing such an awesome job repairing my torn ligament in my ankle. You said my ankle was one of the loosest you had seen and you did my surgery in April and by mid July, I was back to jogging and now can run 3.5 miles with no pain at all. We’re really grateful for everything you do, Dr. Ng. You did an incredible job on my ankle. The results were truly fantastic. I could not have completed Ironman Coeur d’Alene 2013 without your help. After the 2.4 mile swim, I felt strong on the 112 mile bike and my ankle felt great. I was worried my ankle would be sore after the 26.2 mile run, but it was probably the only body part that didn’t hurt. You did a great job. Thanks again.

I wanted to take a minute to thank Dr. Hurley for my wonderful office experience. A friend referred me to you because of the pain I had on top of my wrist. I was unable to continue playing tennis in my club championships before our appointment. But thanks to your professionalism and skill, you took care of the problem and I actually won 2 divisions. Most importantly, I want to thank you for your bed-side manner which was very caring as well as being efficient. Your office got me in and out so quickly, all offices should be modeled after yours. Although this is likely a temporary fix, I am thrilled with the outcome so far. Thanks again.

Thank you so much Dr. Ng and staff for taking such good care of me this fall with the screw removal, despite the pressure of me moving out of the country 16 days later…you guys put me back together even better than before! I had truly considered a half marathon to be well outside the scope of my physical capabilities. But I proved myself wrong, and on May 4th I made it across the finish line in beautiful Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. Thank you so much for the critical role you played in my recovery.

Dr. Ng, I would personally like to thank you for everything you have done on my ankle. The time looking over x-rays and MRI results and finding answers. Every time I walk into your office you say something like “Hey kiddo” and assure me there is nothing I can do that you can’t fix. I wouldn’t want any other doctor working on my foot.
